Day 31.  Long exposure with fisheye.
The local hostelry 'The Woolpack'. The snow still lingering.
My first picture for the 31 day challenge was taken a few minutes after midnight on the 1st Jan, This last one was taken 20.30 hrs, just a short time before midnight on the 31st Jan. I used the Cali girls theme but also the fisheye lens.

  1. Wow, another lovely fisheye shot to finish off the month with. Love all the bendy lines and the fact that it is so sharp from front to back. Very nicely done.

Congratulations also for finishing the whole month. Using the fisheye all month would be a very hard job, so it was great to see you mix it up with the Cali Girls list. Very well done!

  2. I'm so glad you hung in there, Leo, even when you weren't feeling up to snuff... it's an achievement for all of us to put out 31 pictures in 31 days. People who don't do photography don't get it. I have enjoyed seeing your combination of Cali Girl pics and the neat distortions from your fisheye lens. Nice exposure on today's image, and certainly a fitting end to the challenge!

  3. I have really enjoyed seeing your mix of the Cali pics and the fish eye as we never knew what would be your photo for the next day. This one is very pretty and you've certainly used your fisheye well!
Congrats on sticking it out the entire 31 days as I know there were a few in the middle there where you were not feeling well but that you still submitted. That's great and thank you for the times you have visited my blog and left me kind comments. I truly appreciate them.

  4. Congratulations Leo. You made it to the finish line, and with one of your super fish eye shots. I hope that you two have become buddies this month, and you should now have a better feel for what it can do for you. Looking forward to seeing what you serve up in the survivors contest.

  6. Belated congratulations on completing the challenge despite life's challenges :-)
It has been fun seeing your part of the world through your fish eye and also your take on the Cali girls item list. This is a wonderful shot to finish on, the light an colours are lovely as is the mushy snow in the foreground..
I think one day I might have to try a fish eye lens, you have shown me how it can enhance a scene if used correctly, thank you!
