Day 30, Back to the 'fisheye'
I've already done an egg entry so I've gone back to the 'fisheye' lens. We had a snowfall again last night so I took a walk to the local park to see what was about. This is the memorial to a local Alderman, taken through the trees. the park is usually full of kids sledging but school's not out yet.

  1. That fisheye certainly works its magic here! Great shot and I like how the trees are all bent towards the memorial. Only 1 day to go... !!

  2. Oh, my, I find this simply awesome! That bendy tree to the right really does frame the subject and lean the eye and gaze into your main area of interest. And the trees at the left do the same in a more subtle way. Some of your clouds are perhaps a bit blown out (at least on my monitor), but the whole atmosphere is beautiful!

  3. I love the fisheye lens for this picture. It takes a nicely framed subject and highlights it even more by bending the frame and leaving the subject monument tall and straight.

  4. I think you are learning the yes places, and the no places for that lens. This is absolutely a yes place. I love how straight and tall that building stands, when the trees just look like they are hugging it.

  5. Thank you Ladies for all your comments and appreciation over the month. Only one photo to take now and I'm thinking of an evening shot, what? I'm not sure exactly, but I can't stop at this point.
