Day 5
Silver Forks

I was out and about today for a fisheye shot but it was a dull and not a very pleasant photography day so I've gone for Silver today but I still used the fisheye. sorry

  1. Don't apologise! Of course you must use the fisheye! That's the point of your challenge and I'd be disappointed if you did. Or are you apologising you didn't get a shot while out and about? Well, I think this indoor shot was worth it. The curves on those forks look great and the little soldier effect of them all in a row is wonderful. Love good lighting on silver and chrome for that softly glowing effect.

  2. I like these shiny forks and enjoy the contrastiness of the black and white. VEry cool and I'm so happy you have joined the people doing the list; it's so fun to see everyone's efforts.

  3. Goodness why would you say sorry??? You have a plan, and good for sticking with it. You will learn the lens that way, surely by the end of the month.

  4. The fisheye take on the rows of dancing forks is very interesting, especially on the two foreground forks. The effect is visible, though in honesty, I do think those great outdoor shots really show to advantage the curves you can grab with that lens. But no matter, you're now a Cali girl. ;)

  5. Thank you Ladies for your kind comments and encouragements. The outdoor shot was a bit rushed, I had charge of 2 of the grandchildren and was going to meet a third from school so not a lot of time. It was stop take a shot and then away. I took the same shot a few days previous and it was good, but it wasn't with the rules to use that one.

  6. What they said ...
Plus I like the effects of the fisheye on the set of forks and the dark reflections in some places add to the distortions.

  7. It is fun seeing the forks distort as they get closer to the front (the front pair almost look like fish forks), good lighting and crop - well done!
