Day 2
Last of the Summer Wine
Met these 3 gents at the railway station today, there are no trains but they were enjoying their lunch courtesy of the railway company. (using their platform). The 8mm lens certainly distorts the backgound when you are pretty close up. But it doesn't spoil the shot. I could crop it and make it look normal, but I don't see the point, if you are using fisheye then let's see the weird effects it has.
I love the fish eye effect on this cool building, they look happy on their curved bench :-) Lovely colour and light in this image too.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot with people in it! I'm thinking, also, that architecture and various angle shots (e.g. abstracts) may also have some interesting changes with this lens, and I look forward to seeing what great things you find this month! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot. The curve of the architecture looks cool. It makes it look like they are sitting on the corner, watching all the cars go by! Great happy shot!
ReplyDeletewhat a great effect of the fish eye to make something straight look like they are sitting at the corner of a round building. Great shot and going to be a very interesting month seeing all your distorted images! Well done! Eury
ReplyDeleteI actually quite like the fish eye action. I'm very glad you didn't crop it out :)
ReplyDeleteFun Hobbitty effect on the building. Compared to day 1 I like the fish eye effect better in today's scene.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that it gives the same effect as doing a panorama, curving it in the middle. I really like this shot, it has lots of character and personality.
