Day 20, Hargreaves, circa 1800.

Hargreaves was the name of the Doctor who owned this property and is now known as 'Hargreaves'. I spoke with the owner and she wasn't quite sure of the date but was confident it was 1800 ish. It was a  Doctors residence and surgery, the surgery was on the right, his living accommodation was the small cottage in the centre and the coach house and stable was at the far end. It would have had a spectacular view across the valley but is now hidden behind some Victorian shops built in front of it.

  1. An other interesting building with a story to it. I love how it catches the light, especially that low wall. Nice shot

  2. Interesting story about the Victorian shops in front of it. I often wonder what my area would look like if I could visit 100 years from now. I live in a small town but by then it could be a huge city.

  3. The fence makes it look a bit dangerous!
